Pokerwize Review

Pokerwize may not have been the first 3D poker room out there, but they certainly have something to prove.

They offer the highest real money traffic of any other 3D room and their software is very similar in speeds to that of 2D room. Check out our full Pokerwize review below to get all the details.

Summary

You may not have heard of Pokerwize before, but don't let that deceive you. Pokerwize is a very promising 3d poker room. The two main features that come to me is the fact that there are always players playing real money, so no matter the blinds, you will find a game. The second feature is the game speed. The game speed is very similar to that of a 2D poker room, so you won't be sacrificing and hands by playing here.

Software & Graphics

Unfortunately, This is one aspect that Pokerwize lacks in. If you compare them to PKR, then they fall a little short. Don't get me wrong, they still has some great features, such as multiple camera angles, a friends list, a unique hand ranking tool, and much more.

Pokerwize is still way above any 2D poker room graphics wise, and are actually above of most of the competition, but it's PKR's amazing graphics that leave Pokerwize behind.

Deposit Bonus

Pokerwize offers a great deposit bonus. You can get a $100 bonus on any deposit. The minimum deposit is $20 and you must accumulate 2,000 WizePoints before you are credited with the $100 bonus.

The 2,000 WizePoints will take some time to clear, but in the end it's not bad earning a free $100 off of a minimum deposit. The full details of how to earn WizePoints can be found on our Pokerwize bonus code page.

Ease of Competition

Pokerwize excels in this category, as do most 3D poker rooms. The main reason is that the more "skilled" poker players like to stick to 2D rooms because they will see more hands/hour. This is true, but there is a much smaller difference in this case since Pokerwize's software is pretty close to the speed of most 2D poker rooms out there.

Pokerwize does share a network of players with other 2D rooms, but those rooms are also fairly small and have soft competition. What this means is that all of the "partner" sites play at the same tables, but your graphics will be different if you are playing in 3D. So you can play in 3D against others who are playing in 2D.

Features

Pokerwize offers some great features, many of which can't be offered by the basic 2D poker rooms. They offer a variety of different camera angles while at a table, which is great so you can customize the table experience that way that you like. You're not stuck with the same view time after time.

Another great feature is "My Pokerwize." Here you can create your own unique profile. There are four steps included in this feature; User information, poker stories and favorites, add your picture, and preview your profile. You get to create your own unique player for the tables.

In your "My Pokerwize" you can also create your own private tables. This is perfect if you would like to play against others without the general public joining.

Besides just 3D software, Pokerwize offers some great poker tools at the table. To learn about them, click this link: Pokerwize Features

Tournament Traffic

The tournament traffic is pretty good here. Pokerwize often has MTT's in the $20-$35 buy-in running, which usually get a few hundred entrants. Some of these MTT's have some great guaranteed money, such as 40k in a $25 buy-in.

The sit and go traffic at Pokerwize is great. You will be able to find all buy-ins up to $100 on a regular basis. However, the $50+ SNG's may take a little long to fill than the low buy-ins.

You will also find daily freerolls and all kinds of satellites. You can win a satellite to the WSOP Main Event. They offer all kinds of satellites and they range from all different buy-ins (including the $160 range).

Cash Table Traffic

Here is one place where Pokerwize has a huge step on the competition. You will find plenty of games all the way up to $10/$20 blinds and during peak hours you can find games at the $100/$200 blinds. Even if it's not peak hours you can find games in the $50/$100 range.

Deposit & Withdrawal

Pokerwize has a variety of deposit and withdrawal methods. They belong to the well known Mocrogaming network, meaning their transactions are very safe.

For deposit methods, you can use one of the following: Visa, MasterCard and Diners Club, Neteller, Firepay, Pay Spark, Moneybookers, Click2Pay, Visa Delta, Solo and Switch, EcoCard, UsMyBank, Wire Transfers, and Money Transfers.

Pokerwize doesn't lack in the withdraw category either. You can cash out your money one of five ways: FirePay, Neteller, Company Check (15 different currencies), ACH, and Direct Bank Transfers.

Customer Support

Pokerwize offers great customer support. The offer 24/7 phone support, which isn't too common for new rooms to offer.. In addition to this they also offer e-mail support, and FAQ. The support is quick and easy, putting their customer support above most.
